About Westcliff Lodge

Westcliff Lodge is a small 22 bed home that provides care for individuals aged 65+

We provide thoughtful and effective care for the people with a broad range of health & social care needs, through the use of individual tailored care plans. The service provides care for people who require some assistance with daily living activities as well as people with Dementia, Parkinson's and more complex medical needs.

Our staff will ensure that each residents needs are meet to the individuals preferences with the highest standard of care while promoting independence, dignity, privacy and respect.

We have a great support system with our Local GP Surgery that attends the home every Friday morning for our in-house Surgery, during this time the residents of Westcliff Lodge can see our nominated Health Professional Sarah if they wish or our highly trained care team can speak about any concerns that residents may have regarding their health. The local District Nurse Team also provide great support with residents at Westcliff Lodge.

Facilities

Westcliff Lodge has 20 rooms over 2 floors with en-suite facilities, 2 of these rooms are double and we are able to accommodate married or non married couples or family members that wish to share. Each bedroom can be decorated to the residents liking and we are happy for personal furniture to be brought in. Some of the 1st floor bedrooms have fabulous sea views and are very bright and warm. There is a large passenger lift allowing residents to move around the home independently.

Very spacious bathroom that are fitted with top of the range Parker bath suites.
A large garden with a sheltered patio area for all to enjoy, our well tended garden also has a grass area that has much loved colorful flowers along with fruit trees and strawberry plants.
Hairdressing & Beauty Salon.
2 large communal lounges 1 dining area.
Activity/Visitors area.
WIFI-internet access for residents and visitors.
Personal telephone lines for residents bedrooms.

We have the following in-house services that our residents are more the welcome to use:

Hairdresser, Chiropodist and Opticians

Our Chef prepares all home cooked meals on site, with an array of breakfast choices that can be served to the time of the residents choosing, a main meal for the day including a wide variety of alternatives if you wish to have something different. We are able to cater for those who have complex dietary needs and other preferences regarding their daily meals. A light tea is available in the evening again with a variety of alternatives along with drink and snacks available throughout the day. Residents are always more than welcome to invite friends and family to join them. Fresh fruit and vegetables are served every day.
